3) BOOM PAY: How many people in here rent? All I hear is bees moving. 

Reason I talk about rent is, I rented before, and you don't get credit for it. That's the one thing that bother you every single month, I gotta make a rent. Rent be the difference between me going to Rufus and McDonalds. I don't even get credit for. BoomPay will report rent. We pay on time but we don't get credit for. 

Next thing is tradeline supply. You need a structure of tradelines, that's why student loan comes into play.

But now, biggest issue, even when I go to apply I don't get what I'm looking for. 

How many of ya'll got your credit right, and what banks denied ya'll or gave ya'll a low limit? cap One? Bad One to go to. 

Its not about going to the bank that market to us. When do you bank with them? somewhere to hold our money. but we don't know how to maximize of that relationship. If I'm gonna be good to you why are you not good to me?

Why I'm qualified to tell you this. I  had kiosk in the mall, tax business, cell phone repair. all 6 figures. why they failed? I didn't have capital to sustain myself when things got slow. ya'll hear me? If I knew then what I know now, everything will be different. I had the grind and save 25k.

Holton Buggs was there. It's different. IDK if he a billionaire yet but he damn near close. Room I got into at 19 years old. I didn't look and say oh man I'm inspired let me do exactly what they did. I reversed engineer it. I identified what I had to do, even when it was bumps in the road. I'm gonna walk on stage, crazy like that.

GUY: I come from slums, the streets. we did barbershop. pop up in Alabama every Thursday. Sprinter van, sit in barber shop, we would sell out every week. come back home, reinvest. It's always me. I'm gonna give my customers I'm gonna put on the clothes and they gonna see. Who do I wantto serve and how do I want to serve them?

Justin: For me I wanted to serve HBCUs and those people. I saw fried chicken Fridays and black excellenece there. 

MS: so with your brand you had influencer marketing. what can it do foryou/

Justin: we had step curry, chris paul, rick ross, Lebron James. Influencer Marketing was super imortant. Paid advertising. Setting up the vendor booth here. It wasnt about what the website or what you were selling, it was about what you 

10-14 DMs per hour. Are you offering any paid opportunities for us? we stand us, we are able to pay for a service. they typically love what you are doing, look at what they are doing. 100 per day versus 10 per week. 

MS: worst they can do is what? say no. but you wont know unless you ask.

MR: when did you think, oh shit I got something. This is a thing. This is a brand!

she kept calling it that little bitty business. when did that change? This is gonna be a brand that's gonna be everywhere? we were profitable day 1. I never wanted to be an enterpreneurs I was perfectily fine doing what I was doing. Once we launched and I saw the feedback, I saw how quickly and easy it was to reach a whole bunch of people. I said wow this can really be something. 

It still took me months to stop calling it my side business. It was placing a barrier over my belief. Power in words. My team said stop calling it your little side business. it retired me 12 years early so its my main business. 

Justin: we got Chris Paul. our first influencer. come down to Atlanta you don't have any kids. Let's do it. we might be able to make 100k. Chris Paul we did 30-50k in a day or 2. Then I said, oh wow this is real. Let's lean into the influencer marketing. Taking the limits off what we could do. 

GUY: I feel like the goals I reach I could have done 10 years ago. but i was honestly distracted. just doing a whole bunch of nothing. When I focused first year, me and my brothers were CEO. we were working in our house. working everyday. my brother, he stay on it. we woke up at 7am in our house and we made a million. our warehouse was downstairs. there is no really going back. we had different goals. next year we went, what we gotta do to get bigger? we got a warehouse. and we pretty much, and we got our entire team here. 

MR: sometime friends are closer than your 

people that you love get a sense of entitlement. how are you so cohevise?

guys: It's still a friendship but its business. the basic principles of life. it starts with me. i keep myself away. I'm so behind the scenes I don't talk to my success. I work hard everyday. I'm the loudest person there but I don't talk business because I'm here to workout. 

 MS:

when you build a personal brand, then you can launch whatever it is. i started talking about it. we built Suport Balck colleges then i started tlaking about it. hard work and being famous too. reason why rihanna and kylie cna start a business and turn it into multi billino dollar business. you can direct it towards anything taht you want to do. 

Let me ask you guys this. BUILD A BRAND. In my opinion, building a community is more important than than building the brand. the customers are what drive the brand. how important to you guys is building community? Truly vital and 

guys: when you put the business structure and they see that you can attain it, when you build that community the respect and notiratey... my community is what build me they buy more clothes than the entirely world. 

JUSTIN: you need emails, phone numbers, that's the true value of it. What is the data that you have? if you don't have the data, then your business loses a lot of enterprise value. its one of the things you have done as well, shot out to the BOSS UNIVERSITY.

MRS: If you have email, text messages you send out. You have to nurture that community. What do you give to your community to nurture ir?

80% give, 20% ask. out content is educational and entertaining. When we are actualluy selling, we switch it, 80% ask, 20% give. daily and weekly emails. Anytime we can educate and entertain, then attach a ask to that, that's golden.

MR: What ou have in common is patience. million dollars still clocking in, going to work. Justin make a million still doesn't have a car. 

JUSTIN: WE DID THE SAME THING FOR 10 YEARS. FOCUS. DIFFICULT IF YOU DO THE SAME THING AND DONT LOOK AT ANYTHING ELSE. STAY IN ONE LAN.E ITS THE CONSITENCY. 

guy: consistency and gem is warehouse inventory management. we work ahread to beat the curve of what we see in our demographic. we work at same pace as gucci we design 2023 fall. this time of year down time. until black firday. 50% of everything. gain those customers during when people dont have much to spend. 

we work on getting items and release on black friday and on sale. black it out on black friday. 

MRS: one thing i learned. is systems. i had no systems. i remember the day i called HoneySPalls (?)

JUSTIN: system for hiring, system for daily task, we use click up.  SOP for every rol ein the business. as well as ordering. i think  really where people struggle at. they dont realize how long it takes to get done. you have to do line sheets already done. if shipping or dropping, i have to first think about what i gonna do, what colors, items, find designers, get it back out. theres so many things.

you think you can drop something in 2 weeks. figure out what it truly takes what it takes to get done. right.

MRS: HOW MANY of yall in corporate american or worked in corporate america? SOBs the same thing that you had working in corporate america. you come i you get information, what your job description is, what you are supposed to do and how you are supposed to do it. it protects you so much. 

you can get from alibaba. you wont see yoruself. exclusive with only select pieces so you dont see yoruself all over Atlanta. it helsp you set you apart. it keeps your business thriviing. keep prograssing and keep goign. we took a year off to do samples, design. 

MR: got tired of other people wearing the same thing every one else have. waht did you do?

guy: southern, affordable, its all over alibaba. alibaba stuff is customer jean cut to the stiching, they have 2 lines of stiching, small details. but what we did was, full cut. we went away from. they were lying saying they making our product. it gave us fustration. small shade, help me with this. 

oh, i found a vendor. i know that is not my vendor. we went to China. with my brother. we moved our production from pakistan to China. during pandemic we wanted to find someone solely for ourselves.

millions we went all in. we spent all our money. created ledger for our company. they were suggesting that we work ahead. so we dont spend million in sweatpants alone. waht is it that we mahy be doing wrong at the end of the year? went straight to china and we sold out.

Mrs: youre not as successful as you want to be. it depends on you. your mindset, your work, personal development. it really does determine how successful you are. run your own race. everyone is gonna be an enterpreneaur. as Neo says, it has to work or it has to work.

Justin: you gotta elimintate your ego. it keeps coming to me. as you build business, business is really an elimination of ego as you go. first year you think you the best you dont want to let it go. then you give away the shipping the design the diea, etc. as the years go. you have to let go to grow.
