Waka: the biggest battle, is to define the self. mental health. how you lost yourself if you didnt know yourself in the first place.

I found out about financial literacy, corporate structure, PNL (profit and loss). I found out my bills was under 10k. I said what? I can pay that for 6 months (in advance). I had 4 months free. I was sleeping in hotel, Bentley. Thinking that was cool, I was out of town 5 days out the week.

Have God, keep faith, don't worry about changing the world, change yourself because you are part of the world.

I want the young generation would pick up is the work ethic. YOU GOTTA PLANT. when you plant seeds, you cant expect the harvest in 30 days. everything is not instant. Drop seeds in the ground, cover them up in dirt. dig another row, plan some more seeds. i look at first row and it starts to sprout. I don't go to first row and start eating. wait until it bear fruit. in the meantime, you gotta keep planting. look up in 5 years, something you planted 5 years ago and see the fruit. Keep planting because something you get rained out. they will be a drought, pesticides (haters) do what they do to your planting crops. but the PLANTING PROCESS WILL NEVER STOP. NEVER STOP PLANTING. RASHAD: You took a picture with Donald Trump and it was so negative. You explained it to us, can you explain that infamous moment?

STEVE HARVEY: First of all, if I listened to my wife, it would not have been an infamous moment. Before he got sworn in, he had appoint BEN.. as head of HUD. I got to Trump Towers. I wanst set to meet with him, I wanted to meet Ben Cansor because I have an idea. I told him the idea. I wanted to take these schools and turn them into vision centers. where we would create financial liteary, after school programs. and give parents some financial literacy. I leave the building Donald Trump says I'll ride down with you. I said I'll be dammed. I told reporters I'll be back over and tell you why i'm here. He walks in front of me. Now I'm standing there. First thing out his mouth was: 'WE ARE GOING TO REPEAL OBAMACARE.' 

I didn't say anything about that. i told reports. This happened on my 60th birthday. my wife had a nice thing planned for me. All I had to do was go get on a boat, but no I gotta go and do this for black people

I got to the car, and I couldn't believe it. I was jigga boo, uncle tom, all I do is get out of the house is be a black man, someone people can look up to.

VISION CENTERS was the only thing Ben Cansor had to run with. they opened up 3 of them. all the ideas i gave them they enabled it. they asked me to take a picture with Ben Carson in front of the school. my family got attacked. that was a hurtful moment for me. 

i went there to get housing and benefits for black people and they turned on me for that.

TROY: 2015 Ms Universe. You shared the story behind us. But it affected you in a positive way, can you share that?

STEVE HARVEY:  I'm smart, I read very well and I listen very well. The teleprompter said, and the new 2015 ms universe is... I got 2 names on the car, and I got a third name. she put 3rd name on.. thumb covered the name... Read the 2nd name on the card Steve. Ok, Ms Columbia. Great job, Steve, go in the back. 

Stage manager said, you said the wrong name I read the name on the card and did what the director told me to do. Director said, I'm gonna go out here and give it out to the right one. he said, don't worry about it we'll fix it in the papers tomorrow. I went out there and took the bullet (teleprompter, 3rd name on card not as rehearsed, director gave me wrong directions). 

Next week, house in a week. 24 hour guards year round ever since 2015 the Columbians were coming for me. death Threats were real. i quit drinking Columbian coffee, they had me concerned. I still have full time armed security because they threated my family. 

I'm not advanced Christianity. if you slap me, i wont turn the cheek. if you curse me, i'll curse you. you need a Christian like me. Only time I would address it was when ms columbia came on my show. it didnt happen until February. 

I had prayed to God about being a global business man, wanted to 

within 48 hours, my name had been google 4 billion times. I was most googled for 48 hours. God had increased my global brand and persona. Did not appreciate the way it happened, God I did not appreciate that.

I got letters they gave us 13 villas. We can go vacation anytime we want. T Mobile said we'll take your mistake and turn it into good. How so? how much does that pay? I did the T Mobile commercial. I don't care if we do a reenactment, the money they paid me. Lesson I learned from that, even in the darkest moments when you make mistakes you have to stick around for what its made for.

God doesn't sound rain without a return. flowers grow, trees get bigger. people get angry at the dirt, dirt is fertilizer. dirt that smothers you teaches you to push through. it's not gonna be rosy, hand you some money. You gotta strike out to be successful, it's gonna be real funky and real hard. 

Invested in learning from traits. Master the mental aspect of success. I don't care what degree you got. Degrees don't make money, people make money. Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg don't got degrees...

I had a 4.0 when you total all 3 years. I was struggling man. But if you in here, you are investing in yourself, that is the beginning of it. The thing that is going on in your head. I can tell you everything, you are wasting time. You don't believe you can be rich, you can have 2 hours, if you don't believe you can have the life of your dreams, if you don't believe God is real. I'll give you the money back. How much was it? we gonna retract that statement. I forgot, I had invested. 

I stroke out. no one said it was my fault. the director, the teleprompt. they hung me out to dry. 

pay us triple? we'll pay you millions to come back. what do you want? ownership. 

Now I own Ms Universe, Ms USA, Ms Team USA. You gotta praise him (God). throw water on somebody, Let the church say Amen. 

STEVE HARVEY: Make some major mistakes in investing. You gotta invest so that you don't have to hussle for every dollar. Latex glove plant we bought in Alabama. we hired wrong people they messed up the molds and all this here. few years later, here comes COVID. I got the plant, supposed to make latex gloves, there was a shortage and it just never panned out. what I learned from that, way i invest now. I appreciate you being my friend, being my family, I gotta do my due diligence now. i got team do research, analytics on it. do back ground check. if its good, I have some money to invest.

I don't give you life changing money. quit asking for money, ask for information. money is like me giving you a fish. information is teaching you how to fish.

RICH PEOPLE ARE USED TO PEOPLE ASKING THEM FOR MONEY. do your due diligence when invest. do some research. i want you to lose the useless emotion ever created: GUILT. 

GUILT SERVES NO PURPOSE. all to manipulate you to get what you want. think what you want to think about me. I'm not guilty about nothing. why am i guilty cause you are poor? i got my first car when i was 38. you are 30 telling me your problems. 

I had a young kid came up to me a year ago. Mr. Harvey you got 15 minutes? no I don't. You don't want to make 20 million dollars? do you have 20 million dollars? no sir then why you want to tell me how to get it? 

No one got their car parked in the street. Rich people got yards, space, they don't park their car in the street. take a long time to make a lot of money. there's exceptions but chance of you being that expectation is rare. GRIND AND MAKE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE AND ENJOY THE PROCESS.

STEVE HARVEY: I'm signing. just coming out of homelessness. Everytime they paid me I was crying.

I had 12 percent but after amg, og, after all the math didn't see money on that.

family feud was biggest product. it was owned was 6 families. All I could do is make money. I ain't complaining.

little big shots, i was a third of that. NBC tried to play me. ruined my whole career by taking away big shots and Steve Harvey at the same time. God had more for me. Stop standing at the door beating on it. God wants you to walk up the hall. there are more doors. step betting on doors and go up the hall. 

13 executives, head of comedy, unheard of. all on zoom call. pitched me to do a sitcom on ABC. 30 minutes pitch. I said I don't want to do that. They said what were gonna green light the show. we'll give you a full season. I don't want to work like that no more.

Only sitcom i enjoyed was with my best friends. kings of comedy, we were clocking it back then, we were having fun. they said what do you want to do?

Thinking of this idea for 12 years. I want to be a judge on TV. everyone was supposed to be on mute. white boy 'Is this guy even a fucking lawyer? What the fuck is he talking about?'

I was bent over laughing. I was knocking shit over. That was areal comment. He doesn't work with the company no more. 

They said: what makes you think you can be a judge on TV?

green light, full season right now. I said hold up not so fast. I want to own the IP, own advertising rights, EP credits, hosting credits and I want y contract drawn up every time NBC get a check, I get a check. Whatever check you cut to yourself, you gotta cut that same check to me.

Steve, that's 50/50. Idk how you want it look at it, but we gonna put it on paper. 

I did a whole season still with no contract because they cant bring themselves to sign it. Show is a hit. you cant walk away form a hit. they just presented the contract last week to my lawyer. First time that I own something completely and totally. 

I went to family feud, i bought the international rights. everyone told me: no one shoots TV in Africa, it wont work. they don't have at he bandwith. that's true. no one has the Hollywood dust except Hollywood. 

they buy the format, bring it back to America, change the name, put that Hollywood dust and then sell it back to them. these white folks they are incredible. 

'these Africans, they can't make a set, they don't have competent camera people. them Africans got everything. they got the bandwidth, the talent, the grip, they know how to light.' 

family feud clips, the Africa set is better. they are hard workers its just no one believes them. you can make TV a lot more reasonable. you gonna have to come see me, I created a company. Not gonna happen. kidding, you can go over there you still not gonna make it happen.

took a year to figure it out. took a show, and turned it into the #1 show in both countries, 

ghana and South Africa. Africa is a place, they keeping us away from each other. COVID hit, was gonna make African air. you have to go see the slave castle so that you can see what they did to us. 

How they built these dungeons undergrounds to pump their music into the holes. man, let me explain something... put them in room cut a door, walk you to this door if you lose the right amount of weight you fit through the door. make you lose more weight. 4 doors before you go through the door of no return. talking about Jesus. I'm not going to hellbound church, talking about Jesus and you did this to us underground... what was done to us is unthinkable... testament to us as a people that we are alive. 

It would have broken anyone else. nobody could have withstood what we withstood and keep standing. that's why they keep prisons filled. they know it. that's why let me tell you the truth. this is the problem. that's why tax system will never change. If you live in a poor neighborhood, when they get the money, school and facilities back to places where they pay the most taxes. 

When we slip through the cracks we too much. Howard and Tennessee and southern and you become doctors and lawyers. they know who you are. head of diversity in Nike. how you got in here? something in you that wont let you lay down and die. you on welfare, we'll give you a check but man cant be in the house. that doesn't promote family. we make something out of nothing. we keep showing up. RASHAD: Can you tell us how you developed relatioship with the Meditarrean prince?

STEVE HARVEY: last car that was stolen was 20 years ago. No bank robberies and no hold up. you can't go there and smoke no weed. Don't do it. go over there and respect what you have. I enjoy going to a place that has that much peace in it. no one is going to jack me. as my family started going there 12 years ago, it was to visit. i went so much. I met a lot of the Muslims once I understood what Muslim was, I'm a Christian. I have sense to respect another faith. Islam is about peace and love and respect.

You ain't God, you cant pass no judgement. I started learning myself more and more on how they were. They asked me to do something for Dubai.  A car pulled up,  highness wants to see Steve Harvey. we were at formula one, one of my favorite pictures. I didn't know much about him. ambassador said, how you don't sir? I'm STEVE HARVEY: I'm from United states. your story was incredible. He told me I was home. He couldn't believe as a black man has risen from the dirt to where I am. This is how it started. It just evolved from there. Kindest men that has power that I have ever seen.

The way he treats his people. Monarchy, in England too. They don't want for nothing. Ain't no crime, no homelessness, everyone has jobs, he takes care of his people. tied it to Africa. When COVID hit, Baswanna took order to China, they took the money and didn't deliver supplies mask and all that. 

I called govt of UAD and say can you help this country? 2 million. they got ruler on the phone. I want this to for you, STEVE HARVEY:, he put 2 cargo planes loaded with 7 tons of supplies from Abu Dabi and give it to them for $0. What ruler you know do that? I couldn't keep taking credit for that. they got oil. they powerful. 

When you meet these people. kindest, most sincere people. After you go to Africa, Ghana, Baswanna, you need to see .second richest diamond producing people in the world then Johannasburg. Once you see that, you will  understand who we are. Them Africans is us man! they they beat, hard work,, the soul, we get our courage from them. When you see them they look just like your family. they look like us, walk like us, look like us. You gotta see it. 

My goal is to help bridge that gap. They love ya'll man. They think, they know what you went through. they know what they did to you. you still here shining, give them that love, teach them that dush. we'll have a powerful union man.

I wanted 12 acres, God plan is better. we bought whole 1600 acres. We changed the name from Rock ranch to Steve Harvey and Marjorie Harvey camp. We gonna hang out hat on. we started the process. we zoning meeting down there. leasing it to our foundation for $1. We took the money ourselves. Build dormitories sleep 150 boys and girls. we not gonna put them together. they come separately. building a STEM center, teach STEM, an east sports complex. division one weight room. 700 seat theater, teach and show presentations there. brand new dining hall. that's gonna cost a lot of money. do we have that money? no. when God tell you to do something, you do it. The how to is not your business. You start figuring out the how to the how to is up to God. Be willing to do the work and put up the faith.

I KNOW A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT HAVE EDUCATION AND ARE BROKE AS HELL. i figured it out. Harvard, Yale, Morehouse is no on the bible. what's in there? dreams, vision. A MAN WITHOUT A VISION, A DREAM, SHALL PERISH. Quit worrying about the education. Have a vision and be ready to work. Hardest thig is to start. Most people are frozen with fear. Figure out how to make a million dollars so you never start.

Who told you that? START, TAKE A LEAP OF FAITH. 

God said: ASK, BELIEVE, RECEIVE.

FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD. I don't know the whole bible. I know 6 scriptures. I gotta be over here doing it this way, speak tongues, God is a forgiving God. God don't care about which church, ya'll tripping. worrying about the how to. When are you gonna start? 

Get a skill make $10, do it 10 more times. made a $100. 10 more, $1,000. You gotta do that 10 more times. If you do that, you now have $100,000. hard part, whatever you did to make $100,000. Gotta do that 10 more times, congratulations you are now a Millionaire. if you bake pie, bake pie. if you fry chicken better than anywhere else, fry some chicken. if you draw better than anyone else, sell your art. 

I made e$25 a night when I started in comedy. I kept working. 150 a night, 10,000... 25k a night. million dollars at night. same damn jokes, I did it so many times. just kept working. I sold all this out. I sold out state farm arena. We and the kings sold out the Georgia.. we got 44k people that know our name. all we did, all I do is jokes. they the same jokes I been telling. Churches stopped fooling with me. daddy said you know how much money he makes? No more bible study in here, stop talking about this boy.
