NOT YOUR OWN

Honor your bodies as it has been bought with a price.

Everyone is a mess! Corithians encorages me. if churhc was perfect, i would have quit this job.

Guilt, blame, fear... we have tried it. changing by using these methods, it does not work. 



What does Paul hit the Corinthians with to change? we are more sinful and flawed than we believe. we are more rooted in Him than we dare hope. 

1 Corinthians 6:18

Flee from sexual immorality. all other sins are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.

FLEE-  get out!

1 Corithians 6:19-20 do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own, you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. 


To change, never forget who you are. Paul shows them their identity.


God is with you now. Not when you do good, when you behave. You are loved now. Am I enough? am I loved? Religion asks you to look over your shoulder, did you perform. you had a bad week? that's religion. the jury is still out. the gospel says, the verdict is in, right as you are. YOU ARE MORE LOVED AND ACCEPTED IN HIM THAN YOU WILL EVER IMAGINE.

God says he looks at you and gives you an identity. IDENTITY BASED HABITS.



STOP SEEING YOURSELF AS DAMAGED. STOP SEEING YOURSELF AS CHEAP.


I am child of God. My body is a temple for the Holy Spirit.


Jesus is not on the cross saying try a little harder. Jesus is saying, it is finished.

 LEXI -Seen prophets charge 999 to get in line. and their gift leaves. that's crazy, you not supposed to charge for that. Single Mom budget travel FINISH THE PODCAST

 ** Lives my dream** Interesting-  She lost her job. She got child support. She always had 2-3 jobs lived in LA. Plan was to travel full time for a year. She had no savings, she didn't know she was getting fired.  They were middle class. Son was in private school, both parents paid for that.  Son said his friends lived in million dollar mansions.
