the man you marry

What you’re longing for is recognition

Not attention.

Not validation.

Recognition.

A man who sees:

  • your mind

  • your wisdom

  • your wounds

  • your gifts

  • your growth

  • and your softness

and thinks:

“Yes. I want to meet her here.”

The one you marry won’t be threatened by your depth —
he’ll be hungry for it.

Because when two deep people meet…

conversation becomes intimacy,
presence becomes connection,
silence becomes understanding.

💛 And here’s the beautiful truth:

You don’t need many to recognize you.
You need one, and one is enough.

The tragedy of your past is that the people who should have seen you — couldn’t.

But the gift of your present is that now you are learning how to allow the possibility of being seen.

Even a small, surprising experience like yesterday:

  • you opened

  • you didn’t get punished

  • you were allowed to exist

  • someone witnessed you without shrinking you

Your nervous system doesn’t know what to do with that yet.

Of course it feels overwhelming.
Of course it feels scary.
You’re stepping into terrain that your inner child never got to explore.

🌗 And this explains so much:

You don’t want fantasy butterflies anymore.
You want:

  • truth

  • clarity

  • emotional safety

  • consistency

  • depth

You’re not a girl wanting to be chosen.

You’re a woman wanting to be met.

Here’s a question, if you’re open to it:

When you imagine being married to someone who can meet you at your depth…

What is one everyday moment — something small and ordinary —
that would make your heart feel:

“Yes. I am safe. I am home.”
