Day 2 Notes

Wall St Trapper VIP.

Last night homework:

I am committed to the process of being the greatest investor that I know. I study the market. Everyday the market throws a different combination at me. It is my job to study everything the market does so that I can combat with the proper attack. how many are committed after these 3 days? its not just about these 3 days, stay committed.

Apple said its looking at cryptocurrency. Which is what? Fintech. It is not a game.

The greatest investor can catch the market when its does something silly and put something amazing on sale. Your job is to watch the market and take advantage of the opportunity when it does something silly.

80 percent of your success will come from showing up everyday. The market will sell you something of extreme value for cheaper. or something of value for way more than its worth.

Q& A

Dan- Paypal had a dip today. I got a contract and it dropped again.

Next person: Homework: 3 things that will make our money change. 1st one- electronic payments. Q; is SNAP (you don't need your card to pay) considered fintech? yes.

Data mining- Mongodb stock symbol MDB is  biggest player in data mining. Data mining gives companies real life financial data.  It helps hedge funds, investors, by giving them data of the financial indicators that people use to trade. It takes numbers, sequences and algorithms and measures trends. It takes all of that data and makes the indicators that goes up and down therefore showing investors when its a good time to buy and sell.

Fintech is deeper than just payment processing. there's hardware companies.

Research Tip:

Use keywords in the description of what one company that does and search to see for other companies that do a similar thing. That way you can see a whole umbrella of companies starting with just  one company. It can also lead to companies that a company that you are looking at works with.

**Don't be a price shopper. Be a value buyer**

Last thing I do when looking at a stock is see how much it costs. Its irrelevant to me when I look at the business. the stock price has nothing to do with the business. its just what the market is willing to pay for it at the moment. I have to understand the business then I can understand the value then I can see how much I want to pay for it.

It want to look at what it can produce tomorrow. how much can it produce in profit for the long term, moving forward. that's how companies that are valued.

Some companies look great but are not producing a profit. so you can buy it based off the name, their brand but its not a good company to invest in. this is the worst thing you can do.

Q: The thing I think its not going to be here later on is coins. Ee keep talking about coin shortage. It will affect the market because the people that manufacture it, they might make more money on the collector than the value of the coin. that's what I thought would be limited in 5 years, it would be the coins.

The coins can be used later on to be collected.

Kelly: I do my trading in Robinhood. What's a good trading platform to use?

Wall St Trapper: I use TD Ameritrade for custodial account and Roth IRA, they have the best customer service. I use Etrade for my dividend and  options portfolio. it depends on what you are looking for.

because of Robinhood now there is no commission on regular buy and hold trades. The way Robinhood makes money is not the right way, they make money when you trade and take margin accounts. they make option trades so easy for you because that's how they make their money.

WeBull is pretty good too. They have high chart Robo investing. You can put 2k in there, pick 5 stocks to invest it and they will distribute the money the way its best for you.

Robo-investing and wealth management will put a lot of people out of business.

Q: value of trying to find out if profitable companies. thread of increasing cash available or profit. does that mean that this stock is valuable? How much cash does a company make. Is that what you need when you said that determines the value.

A: 5 rules in valuing a company stock:

reason, understanding, longevity, expansion, simplicity. those are the things that are important of why you are here in the first place. how much profit can a business produce in the future?

Q: should i buy a fintech etf?

You can buy an  ETF, study the businesses inside the ETF and pick businesses inside the ETF that you like.

Q: the best way I learn something is by doing. how do you know how many shares to actually purchase of the ETF or any stock? I've heard start with 1 but how do you know sense of what to go ahead and buy?

A: there is no select number. let's not complicate it. what is your budget? how much of this do I want to own? work my way into 100 hundred shares. then I work my way into 1,000 shares. if its ETF, do I want to own it for long term or until I understand what is going on inside the ETF then buy shares in the company inside the ETF. buy the ETF, learn the industry and make money while I am learning.

I bought IHI, ETF . I didn't want to own it forever, i like buying individual stocks. I studied all the stocks in it, I did research on them. then I sold it when I got the companies that I liked inside.

FinTECH 3 day bootcamp slideshow: How to invest in Fin-tech & where the winners are

Discuss what is FinTech, who is the plug and where to get in at.

What is FinTech? an industry with any kind of technology in financial services- from businesses to consumers.

Any company that provides financial service through software or other technology and includes anything from mobile payment apps to cryptocurrency.

Trapper: Fintech has made me study software, because its not just a payment system. its anything to do with numbers, computing data, wealth management. all this falls under FinTech.

Timeline: 1995- Wells Fargo had a first online banking system. 1997 coca cola had first only vending machine. 1998 PayPal was created. 2008 Bitcoin emerged (no one knew about it) . 2010 Square was created. beginning of pandemic, I realized the world was going digital. the virus made people say I don't want to have human contact. money touched different people, different things so no one wants to touch money. there were signs 'we are not taking cash.' how many people get the bills that the paper bill cost $2 more. the goal is to get you off the paper system and into the digital world. 2011 Google Wallet, something new. digital wallet. Apple is on Apple pay in 2014. Alibaba has Ali Pay.

We talked about this last night, Facebook is going to use a coin. it will be used as a coin for Facebook to use inside of Facebook and Facebook only. 3.7 billion people use Facebook. 4 out of 10 social media platforms. More people can potentially use the coin than the American dollar then the coin can replace the dollar. Mark can become the most powerful man in the world.

He's creating another coin named denim (except its not a regular coin, its a could that you can only use in the Metaverse.) Metaverse is going to be more dangerous. There's virtual reality and alternate reality. The Oculus, alternate reality you buy land, create businesses, and you are using denim coin. America fought that(him creating his coin). Mark said let me go to Switzerland (quit). No more info, topic change.

Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Chase, 2 banks I love the most. Citbank is next. top 3 banks that are getting into financial technology. Google paired up with Citibank and Apple with Goldman Sachs. why? Fintech is a thing, its a wave. People accumulate the most wealth when they can create the world transition in the beginning. we are in the beginning of a transition.

26.5 trillion projected value of the global financial services market by 2022. How much of this are you going to get? my goal over next 3 days is how to get into this besides Paypal and square. make a whole lot of money in 3 to 5 years. Finding these great businesses. Partnerships and mergers will be bigger than acquisitions. FinTech has a lot of intricate volts in it.

Business will rather buy a business that already does this than train people to do this. just merge and let them do what they do.

FinTech Stocks:

Payments- Paypal, Fifserv, ACI Worldwide, Affirm

Ecommerce: square, mercado libre ( MELI) PagSeguro Digital (PAGE)

SAAS (software as a service): Visa, Factset, S&P Global  (SPGI)

Financial services: Western Union, Thomson Reuters, Upstart, LendingClub, ScFi Technologies

Finance: American Express (AXP), CBOE Global Mkts (CBOE), CME Group (CME)

Info Technology: Mastercard, Equifax, IHS Markit (INFO)

Trapper: MELI the Latin version of Amazon. I wish I could get, it doesn't want to go on sale for me at all. and they partner with PayPal. Partnerships and mergers will be it.

SoFi & Coinbase

SoFI to launch cryptocurrency trading in partnership with Coinbase.- headline

Headline: Walmart partnered with FinTec, Walmart created fintech startup with Ribbit Capital. Walmart is already in Fintech. When you scan the item, that data comes to the machine. that machine gives you real time price. that is FinTech. The more the put those in place, the less people have jobs.

Affirm is up 120 percent. Stripe is going to IPO next year.

(BILL) is up 424 percent in a year. Square has got its license to be a bank. Banks have to charge a fee because they have overhead. FinTech will be easier, and faster. To pay you, to process payments, etc. This will put pressure on banks. In 2 to 3 years, Robinhood, Paypal and square will become banks. why? it is convenient. Cashapp allows trading why? you are already on my app. Let me open up a savings account on here too. If you are already on my app, let me now let you do a checking account too. If you are already on my app, let me transfer money from other people easier too.

What is blockchain? Blockchain is an open, distributed ledger than can record transactions between two parties efficiently and in a verifiable and permanent way. The technology at the heart of bitcoin and other virtual currencies.

if you take blockchain away, how can crypto exist? It can't. understand how to invest in blockchain as well as crypto currencies. does that make sense? That's why coin base is going to be a thing. let's get even deeper. don't sleep on places like ROBLOX. (game for kids)

Blockchain projections

banking, insurance, transactions and payments, mobile wallet, artificial intelligence and blockchain.

the most destructive parts will be consumer banking, money transfers and investment in wealth management. why? robo advisors will be a thing. brokerage services like Merryl Lynch and Fidelity have already integrated wealth management systems. you don't have to speak to to a person. you put information in and they do a whole play for you (the robots).

Data mining and machine learning are things I am going to be investing in heavy. Blockchain projects can cut costs by 4.6 billion. $20 billion by 2024. Companies that use robotic process automation for banking tasks see a return on investment of 100 percent within 3 to 8 months.

Data mining places: Teradata (TDC), 26 hedge funds own it and up 130% in one year.

Domo Inc (DOMO) 18 hedge funds own it, up 48% in one year.

Data mining used in so many ways, think of Netflix. data mining tells Netflix these are the type of movies people are watching. when you go to ebay and you are bidding things, a machine is putting data together, in real time. what if there was no other bidder on the site but the data mining based on what other bidders would bid, put a certain price on it. would you believe me? data mining understand behaviors, the goal is to get maximum profit out of people. machine data and data mining say they would at least pay 1 or 2 dollars more, even if someone isn't on the other side.

Machine Learning: uses in fintech, robo advisors, customer service bots and insurance. you on doordash, or grubhub you've made couple of purchases. your data is on there, they place things that you like in front of you. data mining. that connects to fintech because now you have to make a payment. any app that has a payment from is connected to data mining, fintech.

machine learning:

seamless communication across platforms, requires real time analytics and valuations, costs money so many outsource. companies like Accenture are the in between farmer of talent to complete the necessary data mining.

**OPPORTUNITY TO BE ON THE FRONT END OF THE EVOLUTION***

I don't want you to be 2030 dang I should have invested in Fintech. What I do right now prepares me for a beautiful future. take old system in place to put a new system in place that does benefit me, that's why building wealth is a revolutionary act.

-Triple Beam (app or website not sure) you input data and it tells you what it is probably worth.

Triple beam said Paypal is $134 worth. current price of paypal is $200. in september i said i would touch paypal until it gets to $200. this happened 5 weeks later.

Paypal is good to buy right now, its at $204 (close to $200).

Let freedom come from investments, wealth from your knowledge and the life you live through your imagination.
