-Get that patient to tell me what their needs are, then they can help me


-We have to have confidence in the treatment, that we think its a good idea


-They handle the financial arrangements. get those protocols, those guidelines set up.

1) HANDLE ALL FINANCIAL ARRAGEMENTS

2) FOSTER RELATIONSHIPS

3) different between treatment presented and how much was completed

presented vs accepted, know those numbers monthly and yearly. (How do we track this?)


INSURANCE

has been dictating terms for decades and decades. how to get best your insurance set up and run through it through the day the best way that you can while doing that you are talking about. 


BACK FROM BREAK

-give patient time to talk. 

-she's used to more interactive classes. so its not her. she's not getting more of a response.


-what are your thoughts on that? does that make sense to you? how does that fit into what you are visualizing? 


-make them speak to you, give them things to talk about. ask about their opinion. ask if they have any events. get to talk to them a little bit. 


-did you think about, did you discuss the cosmetic aspect with the doctor? 


great response: this is more than what i expected it to be.. tahnk you for letting us know that. that will enable me to help me help you better.

CLAIMS

-snail mail, what is that?


-is it a plan exclusion, you can charge your full fee. if their patient reached their maximum, then charge the patient the in network fee.

-If its a frequency limitation, you may have to do a write off. 

-NJ is  a fee capping legistation state. 

-we dont need EOB after a year. can load your system (is this right?)


-she was saying to update the whole family's chart when you are updating insurance. that part makes sense


INSURANCE FRAUD    

-changing a date

-not telling insurance what you did (in network)

-lying by omission- onlay missing not stating there was a major restoration- not informing of other coverage

-discounting the patient but not the insurance company

-watch your narratives
