Thursday Bible study

 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 


for we walk in the flesh. we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds. bringing every thought into captivity with God. 


stronghold: these things that are attached to you. these beliefs. for anyone that thinks that you are are not good enough. I think you are ugly, that you are fat. that you're no good. stronghold that keeps you from not keeping forward. for me, my scars, I was so insecure to even do that. 

My insecurity, I didn't want to be in the spotlight. what things are in our minds, and in your thoughts that have been planted there. 


for the weapons of our warfare are might in God, tear that down. casting down arguments in every high thing that exhausted self in the knowledge of God. 


cast down arguments that go against God. pulling down the strongholds, the arguments, every high thing that tells me God is not gonna come through. 

I will get that house, I will prosper. God is faithful!


1st Philippians 4:8


Do not be anxious or worried (god wouldn't have put it in the Bible if it wasn't possible). this is good talking to us. we read it but its a book, its just a book. 


The peace, walking with peace like I just know its gonna be okay!


go to your room, shut your door. secret place. place between you and God. who does he say is there? your father, who sees in secret. 


Jose is talking about how his secret place, how he has tie in his day to talk to God. I don't have that. He said he doesn't pray for anyone in that time. its just between him and God.

Single Mom budget travel FINISH THE PODCAST

 ** Lives my dream** Interesting-  She lost her job. She got child support. She always had 2-3 jobs lived in LA. Plan was to travel full time for a year. She had no savings, she didn't know she was getting fired.  They were middle class. Son was in private school, both parents paid for that.  Son said his friends lived in million dollar mansions. They rented a condo.  She had a part time job, already had for a decade. Dad paid child support. 3 things i'm grateful for

1. got my EIN even though i had that week with Jane, that still got done with the help of Mr. Fernandez. and all he asked is for my testimonial. the post with him and his daughter and she kept talking over him and into the camera was hilarious! he said, she don't want me to win. too funny! 2. Pat joined Toastmasters! following up with him, doing a LIVE, letting him know about the group now he gets to be a part and join us every week. I should send him a voice message now letting him know to start his goal. 3. Alex has a new speech therapist and he likes her! he was laughing and she introduced him to a speech therapy game that he likes and she says i have to pay for it. and she told me the website but i forgot. let me reach out and have her do it for me. 4. i was sick on Monday, and Tuesday felt better. I cooked last year because I was so hungry. I had some good sleep and I am grateful that led to me waking up early and being able to write a draft of my play. also spent half an hour...
