Bible Study- 10/16 PRAYING WITH AUTHORITY

 When you pray don't be like the hypocrites, publicly before men to be seen.

In your heart you need to pray to God. we shouldn't pray just to be seen, to be admired.

Surely I say to you, they have their reward. 

vs 6 when you pray go into your room, and when you shut your door, pray to your father who is in your secret place. and your father who sees you in secret, will reward you 

Don't repeat vain repetitions. your father knows the thing you have need of before you ask him. 

PRAYER IS us coming to God, connecting to God. no just 'oh heavenly father, hollowed be thy name.'

it is that. nothing wrong with that. but also a time for different types of prayers. 

-IT is still, a connection between us and our father. When we pray, we are talking to God. 

You are praying for our brothers and our sisters. We have to get into a place of faith and say, God we are to do it. 

John 15: 1-7 I am the true vine and the father is the gardener. 

you have already been pruned and purified by the words that I have given you. 

a branch cannot produce fruit unless you are severed from the vine.

Apart from me, you can do nothing.

If I remain in you and my words remain in you, you may ask anything and it will be granted.

Jose- Unless we stay united with him we cannot be fruitful.

and what is that ask? It's prayer. a lot of prayers are not answered. because we are not praying the scriptures.

We are not praying God's word. we are praying for things that are against God's words. and we get mad when God doesn't answer those prayers. 

EXAMPLE- grandma asking to grant a family a child. one, they are not married so they are in sin, its not in God's will. It does not line up with his word. God help me lie to my boss. what should I do with this or with that?

Jose- for those in the military, i'm ready to retire. get a 100 disability bro. lot of things that God has healed me from. I don't have disability any more. God might bless me with 100 percent disability, but not if I lie. 

We don't pray for healing. we are commanding healing because we already have it. we don't pray for peace, we already have it. we don't ask God let me feel your love. he already sent Jesus, he already show us he loved us. we must pray from the place of seeing God from the cross. 

If we don't know that, we will never pray for a place of authority. 

he has given us power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases. God has given us, because we are all his disciples. Power and authority over all demons.

Verus 2- He sent them to seek the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. (scriptures)

Jose- -we are not the healers bro, you are right. its the holy spirit. we are the vessels. 

the healing power inside of us, kill COVID, flu, cancel, whatever. we still have to go.

his power can only flow through us. he gave them power and authority over ALL DEMONS.

Matthew 10:1

Luke 10: 17-18

what if that spirit jumps on me? nothing in any way will harm you. we should never fear to be afraid of praying over people. I think we were praying and she was manifesting on screen. we don't fear that. we continue to go after it. never be afraid to pray for somebody because you're afraid or what if it doesn't happen. 

if we even have a slight doubt in our heart, it is not gonna happen. there must be NO DOUBT. doesn't mean we are not to be afraid, something in us still have to push through and have to command you to go.

Jesus replied I watched Satan topples until he fell.

absolutely nothing 

We have to grow into a place like that. How do we grow into a place like that? by doing it. We know that prayer is us having this connection with God. Everytime that we talk, apart from me you can do nothing.  We are united with the holy spirit. stay connected to his word. 

posture:

I know the enemy, see his demons, I will not turn away, i will pray and command? (missed this line)

Jesus answered: have faith in God. I will caution us to not pray and try and deliver demons out of people if you truly don't believe in it. not only will they not leave. he starts messing with you and its hard to come out of that. 

Jose- the demon said I am not leaving. and fear came unto me. I really had to go to God, hear I was, there was doubt and fear in me. God had to prune that out. I am grateful I was able to pray again and cast it out. Ask God if you are ready. especially if you have never done it. pray with someone that this teaching you. 

verse 23 surely I said unto you, whoever says to this mountain be ye moved. praye is a command. whey does he use a mountain? no, not a metaphor. what has helped me is to picture a mountain. to believe in the power of God to tell that mountain to move and go into the sea. spiritually to know that I have that power. 

You have to say, you have to speak. the mountain is the problem. be removed and be cast out into the sea. cast out. AND DOES NOT DOUBT IN HIS HEART.

World teaches heart is feelings, emotions. Bible, when it speaks of the heart it speaks on the core, on our being. I am going to pray and I believe God is going to do it. 

Unforgiveness is how we give strongholds to the enemy. I wanna live a life and pray with authority. see somebody hurting you. 

verse 31, when he went to Capperburn, for his word was with authority. 

Be quiet, and come out of him- JESUS
