Evaluation- IEP

 Ryan- physchologist and district representative.

lowest score is 94.

visual  spacial processessing. knowing how things are

reading- strong scores but when he was reading. when he got to a word.

nonsense words- for that subtext, word atass. low average, those are made up words.

bigger base of words to pull from. recognizing patterns.

Ms. Cohen, social studies.

-Come out of the shell, comes to my room during lunch. do a puzzle.

-much more willing to share his thoughts. her is listening to what is going on.

the planner works a lot with getting the homework a lot. the biggest thing I see in class, new vocabulary is hard for it. he's trying to memory new words. hovering just above the 80. attention to detail. providing enough details. talk to me like i'm dumb. you're the expert.

he knows, written directions. follows verbal directions very well.

Gary Tepper- break it down for him. in attempts to detail, we struggle with. details to our work. we see the same things, together, myself and Cohen.

additional

goals- longer words that he tends to get at. we want to analyze source and provide reading. pick those supporting quotes. work on word problems in math. I don't fantastic grades in math, maybe due to word problems. work on paragraph writing, explaining the connection. not answering all parts of the question. in corporating new vocabulary.

writing- and essays, technology evaluation with him. recommend. uses a computer that will have software and headphones. they can be read out loud to him. talk to text.

testing accomodation que, he's gonna have to do his own paragraphing and own spelling.

directions read out loud to him, twice. science and math read out loud to him.

certain age groups in which they are developing, past the age group. sloppy handwriting, they are not gonna get better with theraphy at this age. okay, I didnt know that. 6th grade, motor skills.

recommendations- service

SETH- pulled out of the classroom in a small classroom with special Ed classroom. up to 40% have IEP. 60% do not recommend the SETH, is being pulled away from the curriculum.

small class 12 students, one teacher one

ICT placement, material is differentiated in the classroom. exclusive integrated co teaching. 2 teachers instead of one, one teacher int he front, one circulating, gives opportunity to give more focus attention to more groups of students.

core classes, ELA, social studies, science and math.

clarify directions,

Is it distracting, different example, hearing a different viewpoint. then I would clarify it. Ms Cohen would jump in and clarify it. helpful hearing different viewpoints, different wording.

classroom there is 40% with IEP. the whole point is that no student is no other students know who is IEP and who doesn't. small group pull out. you can tell because they leave. the special Ed circulates the room and helps those on who need support. they work on the goal in real time as the curriculum develops.

Right, take who is struggling on the lesson for the day. you

does the school already have the staff. only aware two features in social studies other subjects are.

I would like to be a soon as possible. all I have to do, sign consent for the services. I would upload that into the service. change his class.

counselor, see him as at risk basis. check in. better now, see a student and check in and see how they are doing. Robin, work on socialization skills, making a friends. 4-6 weeks. month and a half.

I don't remember, 13 classifications, learning disability, speech, autism, intellectual. classification- no learning disability. autism, that's fine. 10 days from today.

send home in consent. send by tomorrow.

best thing for him, multi sensory experience. having that mind body connection when visual is missing. drawing letters in the sand. using sensory experiences. moving your body when you are learning. grab a bucket of kinetic sand, connect the learning with the strength.

programs recommended will sign over. make sure to charge it every night. the device and set me up with training and train me and the staff on the programs, computer, a separate computer. that's fine.

we'll be in touch.
